Breaking Barriers to Safe Menstruation

Join this Open Seminar to explore how stigma, policy, and trade barriers affect access to menstrual products globally. The seminar brings together policymakers, industry, civil society, and international organizations for knowledge sharing and dialogue.

Safe and affordable menstrual products are essential to health, participation, and equality—yet stigma and trade barriers continue to limit access worldwide. This Open Seminar brings together key stakeholders to examine how policy, taxation, standards, and market structures shape menstrual product accessibility and affordability. Through shared evidence and dialogue, the seminar seeks to identify practical actions to break down barriers and move toward a more inclusive and equitable global market for menstrual products.
